1. Vision & Problem Statement

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock." Matthew 7:24

Every follower of Jesus knows the moment: You hear a sermon, read the Bible, or pray, and the Holy Spirit grants you a deep insight—a Kairos moment. A moment when you know exactly what God wants from you. But how often does that moment fizzle out in the daily hustle? We hear, but we don't do. The leap from divine inspiration to committed, lived change is the biggest hurdle in discipleship. We lack the practical tool to capture these insights, reflect on them, and consistently implement them.

The Kairos Tracker App is the solution. It is more than a note-taking tool—it is your digital coach for discipleship. It systematically guides you through the Lernkreis (Learning Circle), from capturing your moment to diligent implementation. The core: Accountability. Through the sharing function, you can give an account to your brothers and sisters with just a few clicks. The app helps you transform fleeting inspiration into sustainable action, supported by reminders and relevant scripture. The Kairos Tracker moves you from merely being a hearer to a doer of the Word.

2. Core Functions

2.1 The Kairos Entry (The Learning Circle Process)

The app guides the user through the process of moving from insight to action, focusing on implementation and the wise builder principle:

  • Capture the Moment: Users can record a new Kairos Moment (Text, optional Photo/Audio/Scripture reference).
  • Structured Reflection (Geführt durch den Lernkreis): The app presents the core questions of the Learning Circle to facilitate the transition from hearing to doing:
    • Observe/Reflect: What happened? What did I hear from God/His Word?
    • Repent (Umkehren): What specific change of heart or mind is required? (The shift in foundation)
    • Believe/Act (Handeln): What concrete step will I take this week to do what I have heard? (Building on the rock)
  • Implementation Support: Users define a specific due date or frequency for their "Concrete Step."

2.2 Accountability Relationships

This is the key function for discipleship across distances and within house churches:

  • Add Contacts: Users can add trusted contacts (friends, house church leaders, mentors).
  • Share Kairos: A Kairos entry can be shared with specific contacts with Accountability Permission.
  • Accountability Prompt:
    • User Side: The app displays an overview of shared entries with an open "Specific Step."
    • Mentor Side: After a customizable period (e.g., 1 week), the app reminds the accountability partner to specifically follow up with the user ("Ask XY about the step they planned to take because of the promotion.").
  • Status Update: The user can update the status of their "Specific Step" (Successfully completed / Facing difficulties / New learning).

2.3 Group Use and Privacy

  • Group Function (Optional): Option to create "Discipleship Groups" or "House Churches" to simplify accountability relationships within the group.
  • Data Sovereignty and Privacy: Emphasis that every Kairos entry is private by default, and the sharing of content and the accountability prompt is always controlled by the user.

3. Technical Considerations (Optional)

  • AI Integration (Long-term): AI could be used to provide gentle, further reflection questions based on the user's answers or to identify patterns in their Kairos Moments (e.g., "The theme of patience has come up in your Kairoi often in the last three weeks. Would you like to pray about that?").
  • Platforms: Web, iOS & Android.
  • Techstack:
    • Supabase
    • React PWA
    • React Native (future)

4. Target Audience

  • Individuals who want to structure their spiritual growth.
  • Members of discipleship groups and house churches (especially in the 3DM/Missional context).
  • Christians who are isolated and want to maintain accountable discipleship relationships across distances.
